Wearing a sexual suggestive catgirls T-shirt can be viewed as an act of personal expression. Students should have the right to express their interests and identity through their clothing, as long as its not explicit or obscene. Anime and internet culture are mainstream forms of art and humour, banning such imagery is kind of weird.
All that said, a school is a professional and educational environment, not a place for sexual or suggestive imagery, even in cartoon form. A shirt showing characters making out can at the very least distract from learning. It likely violates the dress code. There’s a time and place for self-expression, and part of maturity is understanding that. Respecting shared spaces sometimes means choosing clothing that doesn’t cause disruption to others.
The real test here though is to ask if theres other kinds of T shirts being worn? If yes, then you have to ask why this is being singled out. If no, then you have to ask why it should get special treatment? Regardless though, this is a shit parent. Like 100%, a fucking piece of utter shit. Anyone who puts their kids face on the internet, is already a piece of shit. Anyone putting their kids face on the internet in front of culture wars drama, is 100% a grade A mega cunt. The quicker we all start realising and curbing the harm done to children this way, the better.
Fuck this bready face prick.
You do realize the cat girls are photoshopped in right? Why would a cat girl shirt have a camouflage green upside down US flag on it?
Patch. Ive seen stranger.
I assumed the flag was, yes. Based on other comments. Fuck, dont tell me its because he was wearing a shirt with flag on it???
Regardless, my point stands. Putting your kids faces on the internet is a shitty thing to do. And even worse when its for culture wars bullshit. If he has a problem with the school, then he should be going to the school. Not putting his son on the internet to be mocked, or worse, attacked as a symbol of something in real life.
Thanks for pointing out my error.
I was gonna say: we need to stop conflating self expression with sexual fetishes. Wearing clothes and or makeup are not the same thing as two cat girls trying to cross second base
