Is this an actual argument people make? I feel like this is just a straw man
I remember something like, someone tweets "capitalisms sucks", and the first comment is "tweeted from an iphone"
Iphones, which use the ARM architecture¹, inspired by star trek² to use the internet³ through a UNIX⁴ based OS.
¹originally developed, I believe, by a trans woman at a public university
²obviously communist Utopian fiction
³government backed anarchist inspired, mostly anarchist built in the early days
⁴originally state funded, created with shared communist principles, most further development organized on anarchist lines, using an explicitly-not-capitalist license if I recall.
How was ARM inspired by Star Trek?

No the iPhone generally. I'm not aware of arm being inspired by star trek.
