There is another major group of morons in American politics:

  • The purity testing morons. They're the type of morons who think that anyone who doesn't 100% agree with them on everything all the time, then you can't cooperate or compromise with them they're idiots or enemies.

I would argue this group of morons is a big reason why the American right got swallowed up by MAGA and why the American left is always incompetent and useless. They paralyze any political progress, open the door for extremism, ostracize the public, and then have the gall to blame everyone else nothing being done.
