Welcome!
Can you imagine, years ago how the internet was before? We know Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube. We knew blogger, Tumblr, Skyrock... and long before, it was the forum era as phpBB..and mail-lists.
And now with ActivityPub, we are reshaping the web, and achieving much more with lots of freedom. So thank you all, and welcome ๐ค๐

This sounds like a conspiracy theory unless you have more specific evidence.
I linked the search so you could see for yourself, so I thought you could see it. It's probably good that you said that though, now I have the evidence in case they change it.
I'm not sure to understand, you suspect a removal of your content ? I think the best solution is to contact lemmy.world team.
There may be a federation issue.
My man, that's why I left lemmy world in the first place. They were removing my comments days later. I called it out and then they banned me for a year, lol.
Well, i don't know the reasons. I don't know if your content was curated or not. I can't comment for other mods's actions without its context. I guess their past actions hurted you, i'm sorry about that. Imho, you can forget that and continue to build the community you love.
Being one of the largest lemmy instance make moderation work difficult to manage especially on sensible topic as politics.
For example, if a post bring lot debate, comments...it is lot work because we have to cool them off, make sure they don't attack each other, make sure that everyone can express their opinion and fell safe, all within the instance's and community's rule.
So, some mod team can premptively remove content to keep their space safe. So anyone can discuss. We are not moderating, we are creating a safe place, a community with a certain philosophy, editorial line.
At least, that's what i'm trying to do.
It wasn't a mod, it was an admin. He didn't hurt me, but I remember. I'm a mod too, I don't sweat it when a mod bans or whatever. This was an admin acting like a reddit admin.
Have you checked to see if this behavior is present on other instances besides LW?
It may be that you're running afoul of an anti-spam filter, most servers have implemented something to rate limit new posts in an effort to prevent griefing or system errors on other instances from bogging down the system. It might also just be that LW's search function doesn't update it's index very often, and that lemmy search in general is... not great. And it might also just be a federation issue, those are extremely common.
I don't think it's the spam filter after all. I waited at least 10 minutes in between posts today.
I am not one of the .world admins, so I can't say for certain how their backend is set up. Ten minutes may just be too short, for example my own private instance is set up to flag posts from the same user that occur within 15mins, and above a threshold number block new events from posting (this prevents issues with Activitypub and local internet latency). Activity also propagates relatively slowly through the fediverse, I don't know if your old posts that were not appearing have since resolved themselves, but if you have not already checked that it may also be a good diagnostic.
If you are concerned about it, you may want to try reaching out to them directly and inquiring about this issue, since they're the only ones who will be able to answer this question. If I had to bet, you aren't being singled out and this is indicative of a technical issue that could be resolved. But I don't know that for sure, and the LW admins may just this petty.
I think it's kind of you to give them so much credit. World has proven quite a few times to be pretty reddit like. I'll just let it go like when I was banned. I don't care about the upvotes or downvotes, but it does bother me how much power they have.
As I said in another post, I've had a history with them doing things like this when I was on that instance. I'll check other instances though.
Edit: It might be a spam filter because another one does the same thing. Interesting.
I don't get it.
