Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

The Dems couldn't even get on board with local PDs being held accountable for extra judicial killings in 2020.

They called the protests riots and the protesters looters.

that's why they'll only talk and posture with ice.

because if they go after ICE for abuse violations or fight against their qualified immunity, then it'll set a precedent against their police.

It horrified me how in sync the Republicans and Democrats were in 2020 when it came to stomping down the last vestiges of the Civil Rights Movement

They aren't on the same side, they just share corporate donors

Is there a meaningful difference?

only in their branding.

Two wings of the same bird.

Can you define "the Dems" in this context? I thought a lot of Democrats were on board with that, and some of it did happen. There were police departments defunded. The murderer of George Floyd went to prison because of all the noise made about that brutality.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/watch-fund-the-police-biden-says-at-state-of-the-union

"We should all agree the answer is not to defund the police is to fund the police,” he said. “Fund them. Fund them. Fund them with resources and training. Resources and training, they need to protect their community. I ask Democrats and Republicans alike to pass my budget and keep our neighborhoods safe."

And then it was bipartisan applause from the Neo-Nazi Party known as Republicans and Democrats. https://youtu.be/IsiNDuPAfJg

To a nation currently protesting police brutality, he said shut up and keep increasing the funding of the the militarized police who are killing people via extrajudicial means.

Some equals all. Because thinking in binary terms is the only way.

So do you think Biden was talking about funding only the good cops that evict working families for missing rent or the bad cops who shoot minorities?

You haven't answered my question.
