Nah he's definitely got a point. Plenty of cult classics failed at the box office.

... Still doubting Ares is in that group, though.

One of the best children's animated movies. I want a retouched release where the Drej pop off the screen as much as it seemed like they did back on the CRT tv; brilliant blue. And the wake angels. Chef's kiss.

I have a shitty, glowy, 90's CRT for that exact effect. Terminator 1 and 2, ET, and a bunch of classics also had that "ball lightning" effect that overexcites the phosphors on the screen.
