The Reuters article citing 30k came before the official announcement of 14k. All I’ve heard is that they overestimated. If somehow there’s a followup planned to reach that 30k number, I haven’t heard. It would be weird to pre-announce 16,000 layoffs before doing them.

Yeah. I did realize that. I figure Reuters could be wrong, or there could be a second wave just in time for Christmas.
