Any "ads" that appear on my fridge will be because I was given a $2000 fridge free by the company. Only idiots pay for appliances/services that include ads.

If they gave me the fridge for free, I'd use it, and spend a bunch of time figuring out how to remove the ads. If it's not possible, I'd just unplug the screen.

I'd expect it's probably not possible to unplug the screen without unplugging the whole fridge XD

It shouldn't be that hard to take apart the fridge door and cut a few cables...

Maybe, maybe not. But even if there isn't a chip that makes the fridge stop working when you do that, it would definitely void your warranty, so when the fridge stops working for some other reason later on, you would have to buy a new one XD
