A mettalic blue painted mouse with ghost hex patterns under a high gloss automotive grade clear coat sounds like something that would be perfect for a mouse. High gloss to make cleaning easy, of course.
we could take hints of the functional design from covenant tech like the weapons and vehicles and use lighting along the side as a battery level / DPI indicator with some RGB LEDs diffused under a translucent plastic ribbon (I'm still thinking of the type 25 here but there's several other examples too).
I need to try sketching this out at some point. A degree in industrial design and I've never really put that to use in a professional context ๐
