I count 24 active leftist parties.
Several states have ranked choice voting at the state and federal elections level, but forcing the rest of the states to adopt it would likely require a constitutional amendment.
This is currently the best effort towards fixing the electoral college mess: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact
But none of this works if we never have another election.
So, 24 leftist parties and 50 state ranked choice is never going to happen. Now what? Should we make a 25th party?
Cool, which of them have a name like Bernie Sanders?
Nobody's knows shit about those tiny parties. Americans follow idols and figureheads. Sadly, name recognition goes way further than it should.
25th party it is then.
Good points though, what's the plan for making this 25th party THE leftist party all the other leftists join instead of the other 24? How do you promote leftist unity?
