I've been of the view that UCP have put Alberta under siege, with the only purpose of breaking down its systems - be it Health, Education, or otherwise.

On the Education portfolio, the UCP are caught handing over to private schools 70% of the per-student funding that a public school receives. I know some of us would never consider private schools. But, I hear from those families who do, and have commented that they like the "elite" atmosphere that they can provide. They want their children to socialize with the children of CEOs, COOs, CFOs, etc. If that's what they want, let them pay the full freight.

Of course the UCP want to create new class divides in society at the earliest stages of development; but, not at the expense of all students.
