RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

There's just no way to prepare yourself for how hideous the thing is when you see it up close. I'm all for electric cars, and you drive what you drive, but the dingy metal and stupid shape makes it look like the bastard love child of the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz and a Transformer made by somebody who had used several fine vintages of methamphetamine that day. And people pay what, almost 200K, for this monstrosity?

Really they are awful in photos but there's no way to really tell how ugly that thing is up close.

Same! Thought the online pics were OK, but when faced with one up close at Lowe's, Jesus fucking Christ. It's hard to get a handle on what you're saying without getting up close and personal.

Guy's second trip, we loaded the pathetic "bed" down and he still had to come for a third round. Y'all, I've loaded more mulch in passenger cars. I've owned passenger cars with more capacity. You could put 20 bags of mulch in my Mitsubishi Spyder! (With the top down to load.)

They're bigger up close, and so very stupid looking. Again, I was OK with the pics, thought they were kinda cool. Got eyes on one, JFC, what an abomination before God.

It's like a toenail clipper on wheels, someone said, and that's so apt.
