Welcome to General Memes

Memes for the masses, chuckles for the chosen.

Rule 1: Be Civil, Not CruelWe’re here for laughs, not fights.

  • No harassment, dogpiling, or brigading
  • No bigotry (transphobia, racism, sexism, etc.)
  • Keep it light — argue in the comments, not with insults

Rule 2: No Forbidden FormatsNot every image deserves immortality on the memmlefield. That means:

  • No spam or scams
  • No porn or sexually explicit content
  • No illegal content (seriously, don’t ruin the fun)
  • NSFW memes must be properly tagged

If you see a post that breaks the rules, report it so the mods can take care of it.

Otherwise consider this your call to duty. Get posting or laughing. Up to you

4 of the 5 top level comments basically saying the same thing. It’s a circlejerk at best.

See, I understand that, but the original post is the circlejerk, not the comments. OP knew when they posted this that all the top comments would be about adblock. Its absurd, laughable even, to not use adblock today.

Its like if I posted a video saying "I don't understand why it's not working" and im throwing water into a tub with a huge hole in it. It's not even good bait, when people tell me im an idiot and theres an obvious hole, i don't get to act all surprised. The top comments would of course be predictable.

It is a blatant separation of this particular subculture, but our stalwart membership isn't exactly flourishing under the relentless corpo onslaught against factual knowledge, personal privacy, consumer empowerment, etc., so... 🤷🏼‍♂️
