No. They will not change after that. How many times does this have to be demonstrated. They will blame anything else but their own actions. People lay in hospital bed coughing up blood and dying screaming it wasnt covid. You are VASTLY underestimating the human capability to lie to themselves.
It's easier to say "it wasn't Covid" and blame something else than it is to somehow ignore that your Healthcare is gone when you go broke and can't afford your medicine. There's really nothing else you can blame it on. Now, they may blame the cause on democrats or something, but they can't really ignore the effect.
