The ABC has recently released Deep Time, "an interactive tool the Story Lab team within ABC News created to help all Australians better understand the ancient history of our continent and its First Nations peoples."

I am a deeply sceptical person and find any content about spiritualism, when not written in purely academic and observational terms, to be extremely frustrating and insulting.

I fully agree that the oral ‘histories’ and traditions of people should be recorded to further understanding of cultural evolution.

Beyond that I see no value in them. We know these stories aren’t true, so they have no value. They aren’t revealing the secrets of the universe, furthering medicine or exploring new avenues of philosophical thought.

That the ABC continues to push this spiritual garbage as somehow being valuable continues to annoy me.

The more they do it the more I want them defunded.
