I thought box on wheels was 70's and 80's. The same era when sports cars were doorstops on wheels. And by all gods, they were hideous.
You know how fashion in clothing has a cycle but it is slightly different when it comes back?
Apparently its the same thing with cars.
I suppose you're right. In my defense, my reference point for "box on wheels" is Volvo 240, and compared to that Volvo S80 doesn't seem that boxy.
