These movies aren't my favorite or anything; just the one's I've seen. I also found a chronological list of movies on IMBD.

I, Robot(2004): An original script called Hardwired that Fox stitched Asimov quotes. Decent action movie that explores how robotic AGI could change society. video synopsis w/ spoilers

The Animatrix(2003): A series of animated short films that prequel The Matrix Trilogy. It draws parallels between real-life historical events and a future where human labour is outsourced to robots. video synopsis w/ spoilers

The Matrix Trilogy (1999 - 2023): Critically acclaimed, hyperbolic action films that explore a future where AGI enslaves humanity. video synopsis w/ spoilers

Bicentennail Man (1999): An Asimov adaptation starring Robin Williams. An emotional exploration of the essence of humanity using the mirror of artificial intelligence. video synopsis w/ spoilers

HER (2013): A highly prescient and some what's disturbing film about falling in love with an AI video synopsis w/ spoilers

Ex-Machina (2014). A tech billionaire recruits a young programmer to come to his remote compound to test his new AI android called Ava. The test is whether Ava can convince the protagonist that she's a real person, despite visibly being a robot.

Ava then proceedes to fuck with everyone, manipulating people into carrying out her escape plan.

It's a psychological thriller and it's quite good imo. It definitely has a lot to say about the dangers of AI.

Never seen it ty.

Question: Was south park referencing that movie when they did the whole "ad/Leslie" thing and Jimmy?
