I agree that people should call out harassment and intervene if possible but not everyone, including men, are confident in a confrontation that can quickly turn physical.
The stats show that men do intervene in public assaults and as a result are often victims of violence.
Women only carriages are a sign of declining public trust, community and safety but may be necessary to ensure the safety of women until other issues are resolved.
