Did voyager start tracking share links on iOS? (sh.itjust.works)

Recently voyager has started to prepend a voyager link in front of sharing links to lemmy posts. Is this behavior new? Why was this change made?

It's not a tracking link (probably), it was done to make a better way to share links to users of the voyager app. Voyager users will have the link open in the app

Also you can change which link is used by default in the settings

How do you do that? Edit: user error; go to Settings->Other->Share links and select local to get previous behavior

Settings -> General -> Share Links (Toward the bottom, under other)

Unrelated, but Sync's direct setting linking feature was a standout.
