If Patty is short for something, I guess you're adopting the long version of your name again.

People shorten my name all the time and it's not even that long ๐Ÿ˜’ to the point where when someone calls me by my 'real' name, I almost find it weird

Feels. My irl name is unusual, very old fashioned and difficult to spell. So I've used a contracted form all my life. When someone calls me by my full name, I know they're cross with me.
