Vegas is actually super cheap and fun as long as you don’t like gambling or strippers or popular shows. All of which I hate going to. I liked Vegas a lot last time I went.
What else is there?
Well I went and watched battle bots live for 30 bucks, went to omegamart, went to a free punk rock show, checked out a couple bars that weren’t on the strip, did some jogging around. I’ve heard you can go to Area 51 pretty easily too, and there were some cheap beer tasting tours and art things that im going to check out next time I go.
Ah. Good to know about stuff other than what everyone usually thinks of when they think of Vegas. Thanks for sharing!
I just play video poker at the bar and make sure I'm getting my drinks refilled regularly. Tip well and they dont care how much youre betting. Doesnt matter if I'm losing, cause I'm still paying less for drinks than if I went anywhere else!
This is how I do my vegas trips (usually work related) it's just the food is insanely priced even if you don't do the normal Vegas stuff.
Last time I went I just jogged to a convenience store and got whatever hot food was there and it was cheap as fuck and so good. I understood why Americans are such fat fucks at that point.
The food is crazy expensive on the strip, but theres some good cheap stuff elsewhere. Fremont has some good stuff, my favorites were Binion's Cafe and Tacos and Miches.
Fremont makes Vegas semi affordable for real
