Sucks you’re getting downvoted. They always come out of the woodwork and pretend that abstaining is action. I hate non voters more than MAGA.
Oh but they are quick do downvote anyone calling them assholes for letting the insane people pump the gas on fascism.
It's because there is a funded psyop promoting eastern dictatorships all over lemmy, and Trump was their preferred candidate. I'm trying to use Piefed.World more often because the main Lemmy developers are such people, but theres a lot of features missing and they haven't updated the instance in a while, sadly. Lemmy and Piefed are both frameworks that these federated instances are built upon.
I have similar concerns and was thinking about joining the solarpunk piefed for similar reasons
