If you read between the lines, Trump is saying he would have used nuclear weapons.
This was my take also. I don't know if he's right or not, but I also don't care; nuclear weapons should never be used, period, end of sentence. To contemplate otherwise is madness.
I think he's referring more to what's happening in Gaza now. Not exactly nuclear weapons but removing the rules of engagement for soldiers. He's right too. It is much easier to slaughter an entire group of people when you're not trying to pretend that you're doing something less barbaric.
I'm not sure that's as profound of a statement as he seems to think it is but speculation about his thought process is a pretty pointless exercise anyway.
Shit, we've known this for decades. The CIA trained people in South and Central America, Asia, and Africa to do this since the 50s.
Fucking DEI programs and their checks notes combined arms warfare and counterinsurgency strategies!
(Even using this verbiage straight faced without a ton of asterisks gives the US the benefit of the doubt lol)
