I just updated Photoshop (v26.11), Dreamweaver (v21.6), Media Encoder (v25.5), and Premier Pro (v25.5). Now, when I open either Photoshop or Dreamweaver, the application opens, then immediately closes. Hosts file is up to date, and blocking Internet access (in, out, or both) has no effect. I'd appreciate any help in resolving this.

I also observed that Media Encoder and Premier Pro both threw the "Unlicensed Application" complaint after updating, but blocking Internet outbound solved that issue.

After updating any app, it's important to unpack where necessary and repatch them again with GenP. You haven't mentioned doing this in your post.

When an app opens and immediately closes, it's usually a clear sign that it hasn’t been patched properly, or not at all.

Regarding the non-AGS-related popup, this is already covered in the Troubleshoot Section. All apps except Premiere Pro generally work fine with just WinTrust run on them, no need for modified hosts or firewall rule.

As noted in the Troubleshoot Section, Premiere Pro may behave differently for some users. In those cases, sinply untrust if already run WinTrust on it, switch to using a modified hosts file, firewall rule, or applying the temporary workaround should resolve the issue.
