Explanation: Earlier in the war, there was an article on the BBC regarding Ukrainian training on air defense systems in the US. Other than an understandable dedication to the task, with the American instructors astounded at their indefatigable efforts and reluctance to take breaks, it was noted that a rare objection was made by the Ukrainians to the food served - not for quality, but lack of soups offered. To help them feel more comfortable, soups were added to the menu. One American instructor described them as 'soup-oriented' - and so a meme was born!
Apparently, they also liked the local burgers. I hope the trainers had the decency to take them to a GOOD burger place.
Thank you for explaining. This would have been incomprehensible otherwise
