Perfect Dark (N64) was and is one of my favorite games. Microsoft came along and downgraded it (in my opinion ruined) with perfect dark zero.

I still was hopeful to see the reboot for the new era of consoles. Until I saw the gameplay demo. It's like they hired people who specifically didn't play any Perfect Dark game. When it got axed I wasn't surprised and was actually happy, ironically.

We made a multiplayer mode that was me and my friends, plus the maximum number of lowest health lowest intelligence AI bots. We called it Sheep.

Just run around mowing down the bots until someone hits the target score.

Great stuff.

It was the perfect "sequel" to Goldeneye

We would do something similar, but would make the only gun the farsight XR (the one that could see and shoot through walls.) We would hold up as a team in the central tower with a moat around it on that one map, and go until we hit the 1000 kill limit as a team, then see who got the most.

I used to do the same but load everyone down with remote mines. The AI knows how to chuck a mine but it does not know how to detonate it.

So once one of the player characters finally detonated a mine somewhere, the explosion chain reaction would get kills clear across the entire map.

Loved those remote mines!
