As war rages in Ukraine the Polish people get a display of military might - the country's biggest since the Cold War.

I think it's hilarious that we still use parades to trot out military strength. I can't help but think of peacocks fluffing up and walking around.

I think it is pretty cringe from a western democratic point of view, especially people in NA who feel quite safe from invasion. However, i'll give the Poles leeway here considering what is happening to their neighbor. A show of strength is totally warranted.
