Yarrabyte has clearly celebrated a little too hard again. Must order some more beroccas, they'll need them and I've run out of the hair of the dog.

Today I did 10,704 steps. I took the Minipeelers shopping for a gift for their dad (it's MrExPeelers birthday in a week or so) and we wandered all around Northland. When we got home I saw I'd done almost 8,000 steps, so I got out my trusty hand weights and did some step core and upper body exercises combined until I kicked it over the 10,000. Normally when I come home from an adventure with the kids I'm exhausted and want to go have a lie down, but my strength and endurance is slowly improving. Also my t-shirts seem to fit better. I should too but one thing at a time.

( maybe those ankle and wrist weights would be good for me??? )

You inspired me to buy a new fitness tracker. I got a new one, so cheap now and it's great, does everything I want.

Just guessing my 3km 3x a week hikes don't seem to take that many steps, maybe 5000 at most , and I walk slow but it's roughish terrain, I jump around on rocks and across very uneven ground so that seems to be helping my fitness. The tracker will tell me!!
