Iβm assuming kettle is different in the US to UK. Here itβs used to boil water for a cup of tea. Youβd never make popcorn in it.Tap for spoiler
I think most people in the US would use the word kettle to refer to a tea kettle, at least in the regions where Iβve lived. The only reason Iβd relate kettle and popcorn is because there is a sweet and salty variety called kettle corn. Itβs a bit of an old fashioned thing and might be pretty US centric, though.Spoiler
I thought it was just like appliances you have, which shows how old I am that I had a popcorn popper as a kid.
