Dont know about the former, but have seen the latter. Quite a few people on that instance that get mad when other users systematically downvote all AI generated content they see. I am one of those downvoters so yeah... That doesnt make it a bad instance necessarily tho.

It has a unique governance system https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/c/div0_governance , admins are responsive, the instance has a real identity, there's a reason it's the 5th most active instance

Maybe im still too fresh off of reddit, but the linked mod's definition of brigading and vote manipulation seem pretty tortured...

Brigading logically implies a brigade... like a concerted effort by many people, usually coming over from the same place. To mass manipulate the content of another place.

And on reddit, 'vote manipulation' referred to using bots/ multiple accounts to downvote others while upvoting oneself. See the whole unidan thing.
