Surprised at the lack of Maroon 5 or Imagine Dragons in here. Fucking milquetoast "rock". Sugar and Thunder immediately come to mind as two songs I'd rather didn't exist.
Same, but also U2, Coldplay, REM... It's all just so overplayed while simultaneously being so boring.
Ouch! Hard disagree on REM. There was really nothing like them in the 80s. Yeah, they can be hit-and-miss, but I love most everything they did up to Green, and the later albums are like 50% great. Unfortunately, their greatest hits seem to end up being stuff like Everybody Hurts and Shiny Happy People.
Honestly the milqueness of their toast is probably the reason nobody has said them. They are too bland to even hate most of them time. They just kind of limply slide off of your memory
Although in fairness I do think a few Imagine Dragons song are decent once removed from how hideously overplayed they were at the time
I can see that. TBF to ID, Thunder is the only song of theirs I know.
Let me guess, you also hate nickelback and Coldplay
I have somehow miraculously avoided exposure to both of those bands. The only song I know by either of them is Yellow, and I actually thought that one was alright twenty-ish years ago.
Maroon 5 songs about Jane demo recordings are good, I swear.
I have heard that. Unfortunately my only exposure to them are their biggest hits.
