this is an extremely unpopular but correct assessment, and the left is going to lose until they realize this. i don't know how to impress upon people the importance of physical resistance and rebellion. our leaders do not fear us because they have no reason to. think of the arsenal they have against us. they cannot lose as long as we remain divided, deprived, and destitute. we need to start through less physical means like coordinated mass labor strikes and organized community autonomous zones, but we must be prepared and willing to extend our resistance to a violent reach. the state enacts violence on us every single day through legal measures and economic manipulation. we are within our right to self-defense of the system we are enslaved to. disrupt communication lines, destroy their resources, burn their storages, and do what you can to avoid retributive violence. resist the urge to work solo and coordinate your strategy with a team.
this isn't paranoia. i hate that i have to state this so bluntly but so few of us are appropriately responding and preparing. if nothing happens, hey, great! wonderful. but shit has been moving fast. it hasn't been a year of this administration and we have three more. you don't want to be stuck somewhere in six months because you thought things "were bad but not that bad." it's that bad, i promise. get your passports, leave your Red state if you are able to especially if you are a minority.
Trump's FBI is considering designating transgender Americans as extremists on a federal watch list. i shouldn't have to explain why that simply cannot be allowed to happen. we agree, right? ...right?
Industrial sabotage, catfishing/exposing, destruction of infrastructure, clandestine press/broadcasting, tax resistance- there's plenty that can be done without hurting people.
there is, of course, but we shouldn't avoid the possibility of that being necessary.
