Haha, reminds me of that Peruvian snack "canchas," which is like baked or fried extra-large corn kernals. Super crunchy and delicious, but I'm not sure if they're best for one's health, plus they can be a bit bland in taste for visitors, yadda-yadda.

Canchitas are awesome! You get a little ramikin at Peruvian restaurants like you might get chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant.
