This guy is literally messaging people after he gets downvoted because he doesn't like the word "Bro".

"Bro" was literally used as an expression of disbelief.

!fediverse@piefed.social isn't really that active

If you look at !fediversenews@piefed.social you see that it wasn't that active either, the main poster was @Sunshine@piefed.ca who stopped posting there after a previous power trip from the same mod.

!fediverse@piefed.social also has flairs that @Snoopy@tarte.nuage-libre.fr spend time settinp up, including a "News/Update" one that people can filter out on Piefed if they wish to

Maybe I was thinking of one if the Lemmy ones? I remember one community is getting slammed with news articles and drowning out any real discussion. But hey I'll keep this up and see if people use it.

Having too many communities gives posters and subscribers https://lawsofux.com/choice-overload/ , and it dilutes the already small activity. Most of the Fediverse discussions happen on !fediverse@lemmy.world anyway.

If you want to join as a mod on !fediverse@piefed.social, @Snoopy@tarte.nuage-libre.fr might appreciate the help

I do appreciate the help since it is not easy to find interesting content and animate this community. I'm lacking good source to achieve that. 😔

The moderation process is written in its sidebar. I prefer reaching people and ask them to edit their post or comment.
