I spoke to someone at work today who is African American and MAGA. It was weird, I was agreeing with his "we need to love everybody and remember African American history" until he pulled out the "Actually, Democrats used to be the pro slavery party" and "Lincoln was a Republican" then devolved into sexist ramblings about "women have attitudes now, the 'I don't need no man' and black women don't even know what conservative means, cuz I just like things more traditional"
Then he ended it with an awkward "Trump 2025" in response to my disgusted silence.
It was weird.
He's been programmed.
