Getting a new ice vehicle may be stupid in some cases, but getting a used vehicle or simply driving hours for longer is much better for the environment than getting a new electric or hybrid car.There are also situations where electric vehicles don't make sense, aside from how bad they are for the environment when they are manufactured. They also don't do well in extreme environments, specifically in cold, compared to gas and diesel engines.
