Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

I've seen too many people take it for granted that the suspect not being a leftist means we're out of the woods. Facts have no bearing on who MAGA will blame. They still act like the attempts on Trump's life are the left's fault too, even after it was confirmed both would-be assassins were on the right.
There's nothing we can do to make facts penetrate the MAGA bubble. All we can do is use the facts to keep more people from getting captured by the MAGA bubble.
UT Gov Spencer Cox talking about how he was "radicalized by Reddit and dark dark places on the internet" and then concluding that he's a "leftist."
lol no.
Meanwhile, Reddit: How many subs can we ban for not moderating for Kirk hard enough?
Spez: No no guys I'm one of the good ones, remember? We made a little safe space for The_Donald for a while and we just got rid of a bunch of Charlie Kirk stuff, we're doing what you wanted
Spez: No no seriously guys I'm one of you, I'm on your side
Spez: Jesus Christ stop it that hurts, stop it, you can't, you can't
Spez is too much of a useful tool for them to throw away.
I don't think he is useful (in either sense of the word). The whole format of Reddit sort of lends itself to long-form discussion and people disagreeing with their masters about things, and I think they will want to get rid of that whatever he tries to do to make it "compliant."
Yeah, that's what we have on r/conservative and my local community forums right now.
They don't let facts get in the way of the outrage.
If facts and critical thinking stopped fascism world war 1 would still be called "the last great war" instead...
Hell, even if just appeasing fascists worked, there wouldn't have been a world war 2.
But the only way to stop fascism is violence. In a good government, the government does it.
In a fascist government...
It's usually another country's military who steps it. And that's a worse result for everyone involved.
Too bad no other country has such a military.
Of course, in a country where everyone is just stealing whatever they can and no one dares tell President Pedophile anything he doesn't want to hear, the U.S. military will be on par with the Russian military soon.
Goebbels had a phrase for this strategy
Can confirm. My MAGA relative did not get the memo that the shooter was on the right. Just like they didn't get the memo about all the other shooters in the past year and some change. They were and are all radical left lunatics. That's what Fox News and Facebook is spoon-feeding them.
They don’t care about facts, they choose the reality they live in, and it’s an angry one
They have always wanted everyone who disagrees with them dead. This is just one of many excuses they may use for it. We're not out of the woods until/unless they're out of power.
Yep, they say it's the let's fault because everyone is calling them Nazis and facists. Well....if it quacks, it's a duck.
If it honks like a goose and walk like a goose....
People should have figured out it's a psychological civil war years ago.
I'd say so, too, but they were good at it. As Carlin mentioned, think of how stupid the average person is. Then realize half of them are stupider than that! I'm beginning to wonder where I fall, especially as things get on in life.
That you're asking the question is a good sign you're on the upper half of the curve I'd say.
I know what we can make penetrate the MAGA bubble.
