Besides some rumors and claims that he police officers would already have confirmed themselves by now, there is nothing to suggest he is. The closest I've seen are the claims that he was "deep Groyper signalling" with the bullet case inscriptions, but that's just grasping at straws.

I suspect his Discord gamer group may have been more involved in shaping his ideology, specially if he was giving details on how he towel wrapped his rifle there. Unfortunately, Discord nuked it and now we have to rely on the (in)competence of the Trump appointed authorities and their heavy political baggage.

The fact is that is you have a group that fetishizes guns and fetishizes using them and the tactical encounters with them using a "second amendment" "it's there to act against the oppressor" ideology, you are going to get shooters. Why obsess about what the spark or the trigger was? The Groypers are basically The Army of the 12 Monkeys in this scenario.
