  1. Yeah man if you spend your career being a massive bigot and opposing gun control you may end up being shot to death
  2. It would really suck if this leads to bad things happening to people who aren't Charlie Kirk
  3. Not mad at Colbert, he does kinda have to say something along these lines.

He does have to say something, and honestly this is a good thing to say, if there isn't context that changes this take: This isn't only saying that the shooting will bring more violence. It's also saying Kirk brought this upon himself. He promoted political violence constantly. The fact it came to bite him in the ass isn't unexpected. Him promoting political violence brings political violence. It didn't start with the shooter. It started with Kirk.
