Off My Chest
RULES:
I am looking for mods!
1. The "good" part of our community means we are pro-empathy and anti-harassment. However, we don't intend to make this a "safe space" where everyone has to be a saint. Sh*t happens, and life is messy. That's why we get things off our chests.
2. Bigotry is not allowed. That includes racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and religiophobia. (If you want to vent about religion, that's fine; but religion is not inherently evil.)
3. Frustrated, venting, or angry posts are still welcome.
4. Posts and comments that bait, threaten, or incite harassment are not allowed.
5. If anyone offers mental, medical, or professional advice here, please remember to take it with a grain of salt. Seek out real professionals if needed.
6. Please put NSFW behind NSFW tags.

People can have different political views than you- even views you know are wrong and abhorrent- and still be good people. In fact, in today's political and social media environment its remarkably easy to end up being radicalized one way or another. I know you're not asking for advice but I think it's worth expressing to your mom that you love her regardless of politics. You don't have to agree with her views or even accept them, but I don't think it's worth damaging your relationship with her over a political disagreement.
Kirk said that it's good if people get shot. Kirk said that empathy is a bad thing.
Kirk can suck my fucking cock. No empathy for those who don't have empathy.
That is NOT what Kirk said for the record, he said it was a bad thing but the lesser of two evils.
"All those people on the right baying for the blood and/or subjugation of queer, trans, and non-white people are good folks if you just look past their vile and hateful rhetoric."
Enlightened centrist bullshit.
Bullshit. You absolutely can quit your family if they are harmful to your wellbeing.
