8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I find the demands from the far right to have empathy for Kirk so distasteful... I see them dive into their favourite victim role so quickly and all the woe is us and the "See, the left is dangerous" stupid rhetoric.
Kirk himself said that empathy was destroying the world, why do we need to feel empathy for that asshole now?! Like always the right only cares when it affects them...
I'm soooo tired about the nonsense from the far right.
This attack is only going to galvanize the far right, so I sure hope that the shooter turns out to be right wing. If he's left wing, I fear for the lives of many of us. The nazis are trigger happy.
Come on dude, there is no left and right. It's just us. Kirk had opinions that many of us didn't like, that's fine. We can all still muster some empathy for the guy and his family. No one deserves to get get shot for expressing opinions, even bad one opinions.
Fuck you.... "Can't we all just get along?" NO and it was people like Kirk that caused that. He hated people like me and my friends. Why should we on the left offer them the courtesy that they never offer to us?!

i'm no fan of charlie kirk, but i was always of the opinion that his "don't empathize" was actually a dogwhistle for "be open and explicit about your hatred, it's okay." are you sure that isn't what you're doing?
