You can get pretty good info from footage

  1. direction of the shot sound (2+ videos)
  2. angle of the shot via footage
  3. type of bullet
  4. put all this on a map

Likely we'll see some footage of the sniper at some point.

So how did he just walk away?

It's also really weird they told everyone to just evacuate the campus instead of having a lockdown procedure.

A giant crowd of people dispersed, I'd be surprised if it isn't like 3-4 days before they find the real guy. Longer if its just a bunch of incompetent political stooges operating on assumptions that its a democrat or something.

But normally when there's an active shooter they herd everyone into a safe space like an auditorium, or gymnasium, or some other safe space on campus. Pretty sure they ordered everyone to evacuate campus immediately.

Like if this had been a Texas bell tower situation and you tell everyone to just scatter and evacuate, you're not only putting people in harms way if they start shooting again, you're potentially helping the shooter escape in the chaos.

The videos didn't seem to indicate an organized response.

But several news sources state the university was evacuated, which is a weird response bc typically universities have lockdown procedures in place.

I was on a campus once with just a rumored active shooter and we had to stay locked down in one room for like an entire half a day while security roamed the campus looking for him. Like people were getting in trouble for leaving the rooms to go to the bathroom. It seems weird within the first hour they evacuated everyone from the campus.

They had university security, kirks security, the local police and I'm guessing within the hour the FBI
