It's the same logic people have when they fantasize about an apocalypse. They're never the ones who die at the outset; they're the heroes holed up in a barricaded shopping mall killing zombies. "It's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year", he said, 100% positive that he wouldn't be part of the sacrificial group.
