EDIT: Not sure if that counts as western since it was made in Poland, which is in east europe.
Well given that Russia moved further east, I think Poland is western now.
It really depends who you ask, but many don't see the (what was historically) eastern bloc as part of western society. I hear that constantly as I'm from Baltic states.
