"Allegedly" guilty is still "presumed innocent", for those watching from home.
Do you think it’s likely that they had a work visa?
What anyone thinks doesn't matter. It is a prosecutor's responsibility to prove it in court.
My grandfather was a state trooper for thirty years. The only advice he ever gave me was, "It's not illegal until you're convicted."
I don’t think that’s how the court system works anymore.
