What would be the pint of 2 intersecting aqueducts?
The Aqua Marcia, the lower aqueduct, was built first. When they needed another aqueduct to provide more water, they built the Aqua Claudia and just had it cross above the Aqua Marcia.
Rome had 11 aqueducts in total.
Thanks for the info, di you know which location is depicted in the image exactly?
Near the Tor Fiscale, though the aqueducts are no longer extant in the state depicted.
