Rule 1 - This is Bikini Bottom Twitter, all posts should be Spongebob related in "(Old-School) Twitter-like" form

Rule 2 - Political posts, as long as it follows rule 1, will be permitted, so long as you behave yourselves.

Bikini Bottom Municipal Code §33-07: Anti-Tankie Ordinance Residents are prohibited from circulating tankie ideology or other authoritarian propaganda on Bikini Bottom Twitter. Offenders will be permanently banned from BPT by the BBPD faster than Plankton is ejected from The Krusty Krab.

Rule 3 - Please no reposts within the last couple days, at least

Rule 4 - All posts should be at least above a "Squirdward-krusty-krab-shift" level of effort

Rule 5 - Be chill, be a Patrick not a squidward.

Rather we're looking for a third option. Right now it's either

  • accept: Maybe I don't want to take the call now, or (more commonly), it's unidentified / a scam call

  • decline: It might come across as rude in professional or interpersonal settings, or (more commonly) it will identify my line as being active to the scammers

What I want is an option to send it to the background, so that it can continue ringing out, while I continue with what I was doing.

I'm on android, but I guess this is a problem for iOS too

On my Android phone I just have to press any volume button (up or down) so it gets silent but the call is not declined

Yeah, but if you are doing anything with audio you are shit outta luck. Either have to decline (which you might not wanna do for various reasons) or wait for the call to end.

Frankly the 'do not disturb' option should work like that where calls don't override, but doesn't.
