There can be multiple assholes...
Like, Biden literally violated the Leahy law
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leahy_Law
There was credible evidence US weapons were used in Israels's genocide of Palestinians.
Congress didn't immediately approve more aid, so Biden unilaterally (and illegally) went around Congress to provide arms that then were used to commit genocide.
Is trump worse?
Fucking obviously.
But Joe Biden is a fucking war criminal and Kamala repeatedly and proudly told anyone that would listen she'd be exactly the same.
How far back do we need to go until we find a president that didn't commit a war crime?
You could make a case for the Carter administration. The worst knocks against him were arms sales to Indonesia after their invasion of East Timor and to the Shah before the Iranian Revolution. Probably some reactionary leaders in South America too.
Besides that you’d have to go all the way back to Hoover who may have been completely unequipped to resolve the Great Depression but did do a ton of work with humanitarian food aid during and in the wake of the First World War. It’s very likely he saved tens of millions of lives from starvation.
Wow you're really softballing the fact that Carter helped commit genocide there.
I think the blame mostly lies on Ford there, and I’d say my response speaks more to how low of a bar modern presidencies have set rather than my feelings on East Timor.
Not fucking obvoously. Since these kinds of arguments led us to trump 2.0. So thanks for that.
The truth led us to Trump, so we should conceal it instead? What garbage.
Lies and people willing to believe them because they fit their hateful worldview is what led us to Trump.
Not “Truth”.
Well, that fucking scans.
So because I dont follow politics, my opinion that we shouldn’t conceal history is invalid?
If you don't follow politics and understand political history, you can't profess what truth is or is not.
So, yes, you should not have an opinion if you do not understand the situation.
That handy little truth statement you made is just the proliferation of propaganda.
I’m not the one that said there was some fact about Biden being a war criminal. Someone else did. Then someone else said it needs concealed. I simply said we shouldn’t conceal truths.
If that statement about Biden being a war criminal isn’t true, lay it out there.
As far as I can tell, all the USA leaders are criminals and belong behind bars, especially Trump, but what do I know?
The Secretary of State is appointed by the President though.
And I'm certain they argued there was no credible information Israel committed gross violations of human rights. Maybe it was only "normal" violations of human rights. Or maybe the information was somewhat incredible. Or maybe the Secretary of State said "LALALALALALALA" and closed their eyes and ears when presented with information so they didn't technically have it.
