Is this normal? Seems like "Hot" would refer to posts within the last ~6 hours or so...

Front end. You can see on my instance (https://thelemmy.club) that issue is fixed by a hotfix release someone made. It's only a few lines of code, I don't know what build the discuss.online beta is using exactly. I was pretty sure it was 0.18 which removes websockets, which makes that problem go away.
