Usually, when people talk about Cascadia as a country, they include British Columbia.

God we have trouble enough with Toronto thinking it's the centre of the world and ignoring BC. We'd have zero influence in Cascadia.

Quite a few of the folks I know consider BC just as big / important a part of the PNW as Bellingham, Seattle, Olympia, Portland, Salem, Eugene, etc.
